“After taking this course, I felt an instant shift in my ability to improve my business. Now, my case studies showcase the full extent of the work included in a project. I’ve also used what I learned in Case Study Recipe to organize all my projects.
It’s only been a few months, but I’ve already received messages and comments from potential clients who have seen the new case studies 🙌
If you feel your portfolio isn’t up to scratch and isn’t helping your business, I highly recommend grabbing Case Study Recipe.”

Who am I to teach you about case studies and portfolios?
Hi! If we haven’t met yet — I’m Danbee. I’m a web design mentor and a global inclusion specialist. I started my business in 2019 as a web designer. Helping my clients build thriving online coaching businesses, I grew my business to 6 figures in under 3 years.
I created Case Study Recipe because I saw so many earlier-stage web designers wasting precious time and energy on Instagram reels, blog posts, lead magnets, etc. then getting disappointed when those didn’t bring in new clients.
Because I also made the same mistakes when I first started out as a web designer, I know those methods are not the most effective for getting new clients at that specific stage of business.
A better strategy? Creating a portfolio of case studies. A case study guides potential clients through a simple and easy-to-understand story about a problem you’ve solved through web design. It shows them that if they have a similar problem, it’s likely that you can help them, too.
Case studies live as evergreen content on your website and make it easier for other people to share your work.
When potential clients reach out to me to learn more about hiring me as a web designer, most of them already know that they want to choose me. How? They’ve seen my case studies. They know I’ve helped other businesses like theirs, and they come to me because they wanted similar results.
My case studies make me money — and I’ve taken everything I’ve learned over the years about creating compelling case studies and bottled it up into Case Study Recipe.
But don’t just take it from me.

FAQ
-
Case Study Recipe covers how to present web design projects. I focus on things like what the client was looking for in a new website, why a designer chose specific colors/fonts/photos, the rationale behind the logo design, the results the client got after the website launch, etc.
While I can see how this could translate to other kinds of done-for-you projects that require customization and client input, I generally recommend this course for web designers only.
